Warranty

General Warranty Conditions

(Valid for all products sold in Europe as of 26.11.2025)

Scope of Warranty

1.1. This voluntary manufacturer’s warranty is provided by NITEHOG and applies in addition to statutory consumer rights.
1.2. Warranty coverage applies only to the original end-customer purchaser and is non-transferable.
1.3. Warranty applies exclusively to normal civilian use of the product.
1.4. The warranty applies only to products originally sold within the EEA and Switzerland. Export outside this territory automatically voids the warranty.

 Warranty Duration

2.1. 36 months for the device (optical core, housing, internal components).
2.2. 24 months for rechargeable battery packs (except Gecko 35 Pro battery pack – 12 months).
2.3. Consumables such as rechargeable batteries, chargers, cables, bags, straps, lens caps, rubber buttons, switches, and fastening elements are explicitly excluded.
2.4. The warranty period starts from device purchase date.
If no proof of purchase is provided → manufacturing date + 90 days will apply.

Warranty repairs do not extend or renew the original warranty period.

 Warranty Coverage

NITEHOG warrants that the product is free from defects in materials and workmanship when used under normal conditions and according to the operating instructions.

If the product meets all factory specifications, no warranty case shall be established.

Exclusions and Limitations

Warranty shall NOT apply and is void in cases of:

4.1. Normal wear and tear
4.2. Improper or abusive use, negligent handling, impact, dropping, shock
4.3. Liquid ingress, extreme temperatures, humidity, sand/dust exposure
4.4. Unauthorized disassembly, modification, firmware manipulation, or repair
4.5. Use of non-original mounts, adapters, batteries, or accessories
4.6. Serial number removal, modification, or illegibility
4.7. Power damage (incorrect voltage, surges, unstable power supply)
4.8. Damage caused during professional or intensive hunting/field use, rental, commercial or security services
4.9. Cosmetic damage not affecting function
4.10. Damage caused by insects, vermin, corrosion, or foreign object intrusion
4.11. Force majeure: lightning, fire, flood, war, etc.

In all above cases, NITEHOG reserves the right to reject the claim and charge full repair or replacement costs.

Warranty Procedure (Mandatory)

5.1. All warranty claims must be registered via the official RMA system:
https://nitehog.com/service-repair-center/
5.2. Mandatory documentation (missing = claim rejection):
• Detailed description incl. environmental conditions of failure
• Valid proof of purchase
• Serial number
• Completed warranty card (if provided)
• Photo/video evidence if required
5.3. Customer covers shipping to the service centre; NITEHOG covers return shipping only if the claim is accepted.
5.4. Repair or replacement will be performed at NITEHOG’s sole discretion.
5.5. All replaced devices/parts become property of NITEHOG.

Liability Limitation

6.1. NITEHOG’s liability is strictly limited to repair or replacement of the defective product.
6.2. NITEHOG shall NOT be liable for:
• Indirect or consequential damages
• Costs of ammunition, travel, hunting licenses, or missed hunting opportunities
• Loss of profit, data, or third-party claims
6.3. Total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price.

No dealer, distributor, or sales representative is authorized to modify these warranty terms.

 B2B / Demo / Refurbished Units

7.1. Products sold as demo, refurbished, sales samples, or for commercial use may have reduced warranty or no warranty, as explicitly stated at sale.
7.2. Such products are not eligible for full replacement. NITEHOG may offer paid service at its discretion.

 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This warranty is governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts of Sofia, Bulgaria.

 Final Provisions

9.1. These warranty terms replace all previous versions.
9.2. If any clause is deemed invalid, the remainder remains fully enforceable.
9.3. NITEHOG reserves the right to amend these conditions without notice — the version valid at the date of purchase applies.
